Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara born as the only son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 she portrayed the lead role in several dramas on television. Her critically acclaimed role in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically profitable Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning actress. Alexandra is well known for her participation in a variety of noteworthy projects both domestically as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as other.
